Magnus felt like he had been slapped. What does he look like?

"He was badly burned, but from what we could see he had dark hair. If that helps any." another man told Magnus.

Magnus felt like he was back in the heavy smoke again. He struggled to breath properly as he spoke again. Can I see him?

The man who had just spoken hesitated, but one of the older firefighters stepped forward. "The body is about to be picked up, but you may see it." he told Magnus as he turned and headed back towards the fire trucks.

(Hey I have to ask, are we still doing the post about the Doctor? Did something go wrong? )

Magnus leaned against the wall and tried to look indifferent, tapping on of his foot to a slow beat. Every so often his cat eyes would gaze steadily into the eyes of a fireman, almost challenging him to comment about the blue sparks that flew from his foot with each tap.

The rest of the men shifted uneasily after being left with the strange man. The older fireman came back with a stretcher. On top was a body bag.

Magnus strode over and waved his hand over the bag, making it see-through. He looked at the charred body and almost laughed with the relief he felt. It was the wrong shape, to small, and the face didn't look anything like his Adonis.

The older man blinked in surprise at the relief on the man's face. "I take it you don't know this man." he said with a sigh.

Magnus was grinning as he nodded and turned to walk away, his business finished here. He sent out a purple mist to detect anybody hiding nearby.

The men watched him leave, but were quickly put back to work once an ambulance showed up to take the body away.

Adonis shifted slightly up in his perch on the branch. He was hesitating between staying where he was or sneaking back to see what the condition of the apartment was.

Magnus grinned when he found something. He walked towards where the mist was interrupted and stopped in confusion when it brought him to a large tree. He stood, confused, until he finally looked up and saw a dark figure crouching overhead. Adonis?

Adonis' bright blue eyes widened in surprise to see Magnus standing below him.

Magnus raised his eyebrow, his hand on his hip. Adonis, what are you doing up there?

At the man's question Adonis jumped down from his place in the tree and all but tackled Magnus. He wrapped his arms around the man's neck and tried to hold back the tears that were threatening to spill over.

Magnus hugged him back gently. Hey, what's the matter? He asked softly.

"Everything's g-gone..." he whispered brokenly.

Magnus put his fingers under the boys chin so he would look at him. Don't worry. You can stay with me. He said, an easy grin on his face.

Adonis' eyes met Magnus' before he bit his lower lip to keep it from trembling. "I...I don't w-want to be a b-burden." he mumbled.

Magnus gazed into Adonis' s beautiful eyes and his thumb stroked gently across his cheek. You would never be a burden. Ever. He said.

At Magnus' words the tears spilled over and down Adonis' cheeks. Without a second thought he tightened his grip around the man's neck and stood on tiptoe to press his lips against Magnus'.

Magnus wound his arms around the younger boys waist and kissed him back gently.

Adonis shivered slightly when his kiss was returned before pressing himself closer to Magnus.

Magnus gripped him tightly, deepening the kiss slightly. He ran his tongue lightly over the boys bottom lip.

Adonis felt his tongue run along his bottom lip and gasped softly.

Magnus grinned when he felt the soft gasp and continued at his bottom lip, adding a small nip now and again.
