Adonis couldn't stop the blush and frowned slightly. He sighed, his shoulders slumping. He noticed all the stuff Magnus was putting in his hair. "Have you ever gone anywhere without all that stuff in your hair?" he asked.

He started colouring the ends of his hair all different colours. He started putting fingerfuls of glitter on each spike.Yes. Bed.He replied, dropping one lazy eye in a wink.

Adonis rolled his eyes at Magnus' reply. "You know you don't look that bad with your hair normal." he said, gasping when he realized what he said.

Magnus raised his eyebrows and turned to look at Adonis.What?

Adonis blushed and covered his mouth with a hand. "N-Nothing!" he all but squeaked out.

Magnus stared at him, then went back to looking in the mirror. He opened his eyes very wide and started to pencil on blue eyeliner.

Adonis sighed in relief when Magnus returned to what he was doing. He watched as the man put on the eyeliner, studying his face. The Warlock was actually rather attractive looking, something that Adonis never planned on admitting.

Magnus finished his eyeliner and turned to look triumphantly at Adonis.Done! Now. I have a client due in ten minutes. Heres what I want you to do.

Adonis looked away quickly when the Warlock turned around. "A client? Do you have a business?" he asked confused.

The warlock sighed.I am a High Warlock you know. People need my services sometimes. Back to the point. When I leave the house you will stay. You can have whatever from the fridge and there's tv in the sitting room. Bathroom's up the hall. Questions?

Adonis frowned the moment Magnus told him to stay. "Just one question. Why do I have to stay?" he asked. "I owe you big time for helping me, but I have to go back and see what kind of damage was done to my place."

Magnus put a hand on his hip.You can bet your ass I am never letting you back into that place. What happened today was a near miss.He said.

Adonis instantly became defensive, his automatic reaction to being told what to do. "It's my home. I can handle myself. I let my guard down, that's all." he snapped.

Magnus lifted his lip from his teeth. His teeth were white and sharp-looking.You almost died.

"I was at the wrong place at the wrong time. It happens to a lot of people. It wasn't like I was being shot at on purpose!" Adonis snapped, standing up. "I could have made it to the hospital on my own. You didn't have to help me." He turned and stormed toward the door.

Magnus raised his hand and clenched the lock, sealing the door completely. He stalked over to Adonis and gripped his shoulders.Please stop.

Adonis had reached the door and tried to turn the handle, frowning when it wouldn't budge at all. He jumped when he felt the man's hands grab him by the shoulders. "Why?" he asked angrily, his voice trembling slightly.

Magnus sighed, letting all of the air out of his lungs.I can't let you do this.

"Why?" Adonis repeated, biting his bottom lip. All his life he had avoided any help people offered him. He was always afraid that with their help they would expect something from him, possibly something he couldn't give. He was afraid of letting someone close and getting hurt for it.

Magnus looked him in the eye. I think I'm in love with you. He said carefully. He let go of the boys shoulders and stepped back, unlocking the door. He had said what he had wanted to say and he wanted to give Adonis a choice.

Adonis stood in front of Magnus, dumbstruck. His blue eyes where wide with shock. "W-What?" he stuttered finally, his voice barely audible.

Magnus was worried that he had said the wrong thing, but there was no turning back now. I think you heard me. He said, not unkindly.

Adonis looked at the Warlock in front of him and suddenly burst into tears. "I-It's not...p-possible..." he mumbled brokenly, still in shock.

Magnus looked slightly worried. What do you mean?

Adonis wrapped his arms around himself, his shoulders trembling. "N-N one can...even...t-they even t-tried to...to k-kill me..." he whimpered
