The doctor sped up as he raced down the hallway.

Julia followed the doctor, pushing herself to keep up.

The doctor ducked into a closet and left the door open for Julia.

Julia darted in after him, softy shutting it behind her. She was surprised she got it closed with how bad her hands were shaking.

The Doctor was breathing normally, as if he ran for his life every day. He turned to the back wall and started feeling around it.Come on, its gotta be here... He muttered.

Julia glanced at the doctor before watching the door, expecting it to burst open any moment.

With a loud clang and a happy exlaimation from the doctor, a slot opened in the wall. The doctor grabbed Julia's hand and pulled her through. The slot closed with a rusty clang behind them.

Julia barely stopped herself from yelping in surprise when the doctor pulled her after him.

The doctor stopped running, dropped her hand and bent over, wheezing slightly.[b]I am getting to old for this.l/b]

Julia stopped beside him, but turned to keep an eye out for the people chasing them. "Now what?" She asked.

Relax. They won't find us here. They were in what seemed to be an old office, with shelves of books and a large mahogany desk that held stacks of paper with cursive writing covering every inch of them.

"And how do you know that?" Julia asked sharply. She was still on edge.

The doctor grinned.I made this place. It has a vision toggle in front of it so people can't even see it.He explained.

Julia stared at the doctor to see if he was joking, but she could tell he was being serious. "Then what are those men doing here?" She asked.

The doctor shrugged. We have come across a rare occasion where I have to say I do not know. He made a face.I don't like it.

"Neither do I." Julia mumbled.

We should find a way to pass the time.The doctor said.The men will all go home eventually. Then we can sneak out and back to my tardis. I'm sure she misses me.He said, almost sorrowfully. He began to gather up the pages and sorted them into an order of some kind that seemed to make sense only to him.

Julia suddenly wished she had brought her art pack with her. That was the only way she knew to pass time.

The doctor took out his glasses that he didn't really need and pushed them up his nose as he read through the papers, reaching up to push them back up as they slipped down his nose every so often.

"Is there anything I can do to help?" She asked.

He snorted.You can try.He chuckled as he showed her the book. The pages were covered in intracet symbols that looked like nothing produced in earth.

Julia stiffened at the sight of the weird symbols. "None of this makes any sense." she groaned as she leaned back against the wall behind her. She slid down the wall and pulled her knees up to her chest, wrapping her arms around her legs. "This is all to much. I just wanna go home." she mumbled as she rested her chin on her knees.

The doctor looked up from his book, his eyes slightly wide.You... you do?He said, his hair flopping into his face as his lips trembled slightly. He hated those words, hated them with a passion. He used to get angry at them, but now there was only remorse. He closed the book and quietly put it down.They should be gone now. He said quietly as he opened the door, looking down at the ground, the corners of his mouth oulled down into an odd grimace that looked much too forlorn for his usually cheerful face.

Julia noticed the sudden change in his mood and instantly regretted her words. She stood and walked up behind him. She reached out as if to touch his arm, but pulled her hand back, clutching it to her chest. "I'm sorry..." she whispered. "I just...I feel so confused and everything is so out of control..."

The doctor turned around and saw her obvious regret. He flashed her a grin and gathered her into a tight hug.It'll be ok. I'm here, am I not? Believe me, I've handled way worse He said cheerfully. He went through the door, looking left and right quickly.Noone here. Lets go
