Alexanderas sleek body moved along the grass, lasso in hand. Her horse, River, knew just what to do. He followed in front, head hed high, calling for a mare.

Skylight's ears flicked forward at the sound of another horse. She walked along a path towards the sound. Sky nickered softly when she spotted another horse.

He turned toward her, his coat shining in the sunlight. "Hello."

Skylight troted up to the stallion. "Hi. What's your name?" she asked. She shook her head, sending her mane flying.

"Im River." He smiled as Alexandra slyly threw the lasso around the horses neck. She stood up, petting her head. River acted quickly, "Don't worry, she won't hurt you."

Skylight snorted fearfully and jerked her head back as the lasso tightened. She stopped struggling as River spoke and stood quietly. Her eyes never left Alexandra as she flicked her ears back. She had been terrified of humans ever since she her leg had been caught in a rope trap meant for small animals. Sky still had a scar on her back right leg where she had bitten the rope off.

Noting that the horse was scared, X removed the rope quickly. "Don't worry," she cooed. "I'm not gonna hurt anyone."

Skylight snorted and backed up a little when the rope was taken off. Her ears flicked forward to catch the girl's voice and she looked from River to Alexandra.

"I'm sorry, I should have told you." River looked down. "Bu she is really nice, don't worry. She just wants a mate for me."

Skylight's eyes widened slightly as River spoke. "It's okay." she told the stallion, her voice soft. She looked at him and then to Alexandra. The girl seemed gentle and caring. She streched her neck out and and nudged the girl's hand. If River trusted the girl then Sky felt easier being around the human.

Alexandra smiled, petting the horses neck. River smiled, "Thank you."

Skylight grinned at River and nudged Alexandra's cheek. "Where do you live?" she asked River.

"A small ranch. You'll never be cold in the winter again." He chuckled.

Skylight smiled softly. "That sounds nice." She tossed her head, her cream colored mane falling down to her shoulder.

He smiled. "And we do have a large pasture."

"What do you do on Alexandra's farm?" Skylight asked.

"We train, practice, sometimes just ride for fun."

Skylight tossed her head and grinned. "Well, what are we waiting for?" she asked. She nudged Alexandra's arm gently.

Alexandra smiled, patting her head. "Come on." She began to walk towards he town.

Skylight followed Alexandra and glanced over at River. Her eyes flashed playfully as she flicked her tail, barely hitting his shoulder.

He smiled as he started forward, chuckling to himself.

Skylight walked behind Alexandra. She was both nervous and excited about her new home.

They made their way to a ranch with a two-story house, a barn, and a pasture all in a row, facing the road.

Skylight nickered nervously. She had never been this close to anything made by humans.
