Snow was lying in a cool shade of a cave.She suddenly felt a sharp pain in her side.She smiled hapily."Moonlight!"She called.

Knowing he won't be ther in time,Snow managed it by herself.Soon there was a dark brown foal lying beside her.

He trotted into the cave, and stopped, ears pricked. Then a smile lit his face, and he bounded forward, dropping his nose to the foals side. He inspected the fuzzy lump, checking all was well, then nudged Snow gently to help her up.

Snow slowly got up and nuzzled the small colt.She turned to Moonlight."What will you name him?"

He glanced at Snow. "I am to choose? I am no good with names. That was my sisters specialty. Never mine." He looked down at the foal, proud.

Snow looked at the colt.THen she thought hard."How about Thunder?He looks like he will grow up to be big,strong,and powerful."

He admired it, and nodded. "Thunder."

Snow smiled and whispered the colts name into his ear.THen she helped stand up.
Thunder took his first wobbly steps toward you,then he fell,but the look on his face told us that he wasn't going to give up.

He smiled, watching his son.
