The racetrack trailer crunched across the gravel, the metallic sound of a horse kicking ringing through the air. The van parked, and the hands clamored out, opening the back of the trailer. They slowly led the restless mare out, and she stopped to take it all in. So this was her new home.. She snorted, walking towards the barn, practically dragging the hands along. She stopped again, lifting up her head and letting out a loud, ringing neigh, that echoed across the farm. She snorted, tall and proud, her dappled rose-grey coat shining in the sun. She flicked her cropped tail, and whinnied, watching for Indigo.

Indigo jogged down out of her house, "Hey girl." She smiled at the hands, "Thanks." She reached for the leadrope and grasped on, she held out some sugar for her, "Do you want to be turned out with the rest of the horses, or go into a stall?"

One hand lifted out her trunk, and then they shut up the trailer and left, to deliver the next horse. She snorted, munching on the sugar, and pulled towards the barn. She wasn't much for socializing.

"Okay." She walked towards the barn. She opened the biggest stall and led her in. "Well, none of the other horses stay in here, so I don't want you to get lonely." She walked into the pasture and got Merrylegs. The little gray shetland whinnyed at Indigo happily as he was led to the stall in front of Strike(is that okay??). He peered his head out and whinnied back at Indigo, he snuffled in the shavings and shook his body. "There, if you don't get along I have quite a few other horses." She smiled and pet Strike's nose. "You hungry girl? How bout a nice hot bran mash?"

She snorted, turning to take a long drink of the cool water in her bucket. She snorted, turning and swinging her head over the stall door.

Indigo went and made a quick bran mash, adding in a rescue remedie for moving barns. She set it in her stall. Merylegs whinnied from his stall, "Hi, I am Merylegs."

She snorted, glancing at the pony and muttering a greeting. Then she started eating her mash.

Merylegs grinned, still snuffling around in the deep shavings, he lay down and sighed.

When Strike finished her mash, she dropped her head out the window, looking around. Then she brought her head back in, and chomped down on the wood frame of the door, snorting.

Indigo pushed her nose gently away from the wood, "No Strike, that's not good for you." She went into the tack room and got out a saltblock and a toy, she mounted the salt block on the side of the stall, and tied the toy up to the cieling, "There, just don't chew okay?"

(Cribbers frustrate me so much, my horse will never crib, lmao)

She bobbed her head, and cautiously sniffed at the salt block. She started licking at it, contempt.

(me too! my horse cribbed like crazy! i hate the crib collars tho! can you say ouch?)

Indigo smiled, "There, much better huh?"
Merylegs whinnied, as if to say "What about me?"
Indigo laughed and installed one in his stall, he licked it happily.

She snorted.

Hey, cuz Indigo owns her, she can race her, breed her, etc., whenever yo want, I don't mindd. Ill just play the part :])

Latigo stamped a hoof,backing and bursting through the fence,he trotted over to Indigo and pawed the ground,pointing to Strike.

Dancer heard other horses, and she didn't want to be left out. She snorted and began to paw the ground with her hoof at the gate.

Strike flicked her ears back, turning to stand in the back corner, watching the horses.

Merrylegs peeped out his stall, "Where did you come from?"

"Ive been here."

"Hmm.. I just arrived yesterday. Are you a wild horse.. or were."

"Me? No." He trotted over to Strike,"Hi?"

She watched him through the bars, flicking an ear back. "Hi."
