Whips. She hated whips. She screamed and began to canter.

"Easy girl it's okay..." She dropped the whip behind the mares feet, but continued to drag it on the ground.

Noticing the whip was on the ground again, she took the opritunity to escape. She sharply turned so she had a small space from her to the fence. She sped up and, in that small space, she jumped the fence. She circled around once, making sure she didn't have to jump another fence. Then she bent down and started to graze again.

Indigo laughed, "Dancer!" She went out the gate and walked towards Dancer, "Alright, that's enough for today, barn or pasture?"

She picked her head up, and looked toward the barn, toward all the other horses.

"Okay." She removed all the training equipment. "Go on, I'll meet you up there." She tapped her rump with her hand and walked off towards the tack room.

Dancer walked into the barn, then looked around the aisle.

Indigo followed Dancer up to the barn and led her to her stall next to Rocky, "In ya go!" She smiled as she patted her rump.

She walked in, tired, grabbing some hay.

"Attah girl." She shut the stall and slid down the wall, siting down she cradled her head in her hands and groaned.

Dancer put her head over the stall door. She whinnied and nuzzled her, asking if she was ok.

She sighed, "no Dancer, I don't think so."

Dancer screamed for help, this was the first steady home she had, and she was not letting it go to waste.

"Easy girl.. It's okay..." Indigo passed out.

Latigo screeched loudly,a warning.


Ricky came running from the house,first aid kit in hands. He ran over to Indigo,gently pressing watered towels on her cuts,he carresed her,he stood,"Dancer, I sure hope you don't mind this." He opened her door and put Indigo on,grabbing double reins he clipped them on,sitting behind Indigo. He clicked to her.

She went ahead, careful to be quick but not too fast.

He stuck his arms under Indigo's,"Go girl. The hospital is thirty minutes by horse,lets cut it to five."

She heard the word "hospital." Her mind calculated the map, and she took off.

Indigo woke, she groaned and gently pet Dancer, she twirled her fingers in her mane.

Dancer snorted, worried.

"It's okay."

She trotted past parked cars and cars screeching to a halt. She stopped infront of the hospital, whinnieing fo help.

She sighed and looked around at Ricky.

He stroked her,"Shh." He leaped off Dancer and took Indigo with him,craddling her. He emediatly got a room.

Dancer paced outside, snorting at a fe wide-eyed painents and doctors.
