The femmora loped across the plains, each step bringing up sand, that scattered in the wind. She was breathtaking, as if radiating with raw power. As she ran, the muscles below her gold-spin coat rippled with sheer strength. The wind ran through her long ebony mane and tail, tugging at the shadowy locks of hair. She slid to a stop at a stream, lowering her neck to drink. She was a perfect thoroughbred. The perfect horse, from the exact black line that ran down her back and split her into halves, to her deep hazel eyes, eyes that held the spark of any good horse. From her four even black stockings, that shifted to her deep gold colour, to her perfect, sleek, muscular thoroughbred body. She was perfect. All except for the fact she was wild. Wilder than any other.

Hopeful Chance was running past, he came across a log but that didnt stop him he leaped over it, he looked around and saw the mare he watched her carfully she was very pretty he whinnied to her and came to a stop"Hi!" he shouted to her as he cantered towards her

The dun lifted her head, and flicked her ears back uncertainly. "Hello." She said, her voice wavering slightly with unease.

"I'm Hopeful Chance, or Chance." he smiled at her then said,"What are you doing in a place like this? you must be careful to not get captured, hah. i guess i should too."

She snorted. "I can outsmart, autfight, and outrun any of them." She said, dtepping forward slightly.

he laughed, stepping forward as well he said,"me and you both," then smiled

She shifted uneasily, and flicked one ear back at the sound of a branch snapping.

Chance looked to where he heard the sound, he couldn't see or smell anything, he thought it was probably just a rabbit or something

"Soo...... Umm......" She said, shuftung awkwardly.

He smiled at her, "You seem tense. Why?" his face went serious.

She shrugged. "Not tense." She said, feigning carefree.

He smiled, "Good."

She nodded silently, looking down.

He smiled at her.

She shifted, flicking her tail at her side, and the brand on her flank.

He looked at the marking and looked at her questioningly.

She glanced up to see him look at her brand. "Its what people do to show other people what horse is who's. 9ertain horses get it done under our lips too. We're the fast ones."

"Does it hurt?"

She shrugged. "When they first do it. But it fades quickly."

"How do they mark it like that?"

"Hot metal."

Chance's eyes widend at the thought, "oww" he mumbled to himself

Suddenly,a girl on horseback cam out of the bushes.She came quickly and got her lasso out.

Miss Madonna snorted, turning her head to watch the girl. She took a step sideways, still watching carelessly.

sudddenlt the girl and her horse turned sharply and she threw her lasso,aiming for the neck.
