They were one table away, and soon prowled to their table in the corner. They studied her, talking lowly. One sat down on the booth seat. "Hello poppit." He grinned madly. She punched him in the jaw, and then flexed her fingers, glaring. "We should go." She hissed to him, grabbing her bag from under the table as the other guy reached for her.

He flipped the knife back in, standing up, ready to knock the crap out of anyone he had to.

She threw the strap of her bag over her head so it settled across her chest, and jumped out of the booth a second before a hand landed where her ankle was. As she passed Sik, she grabbed his arm and whispered "Level 2," pulling him along for a moment before shoving open the door and hoping he kept up as she ran down the hall towards the stairs.

She took the stairs two at a time, hearing angry shouts. They were gaining on the pair. She flung open a door next to a big number 2 painted on the wall, and paused for Sik to catch up.

She ran through the casino, hopping onto one of the few empty stools by a cluster of machines. She stood on the stall and swiftly hopped up onto the top of the slot machine. And disappeared behind it. "Come on!" She hollered, as she sat in the small space that the five slot machines placed in a circle created. She pulled her bag strap over her head and pushed it against a machine, struggling to push herself up to a sitting position.

He followed her, his movements swift and casual, his face remaining emotionless. As he squatted down, he felt akwrd being i this small space with this hardly-stranger.

She knelt, facing away from him, hands on the back of two of the machines, peeking out of the tiny crack between them. "Shit." She breathed, not moving but still staring out of the very small crack.

He sat, not hearing her swear. He almost fell, but he caught himself.

She turned around, leaning her back against the machine and closing her eyes. "Theyre gonna see the shoe marks on the stool." she murmered, daring another peek through the crack. A guy in black leather was standing by the stool, and looking up at the top of the machines.
