Her dainty body lay on the ground under an apple tree, her foal next to her. Her dreams were full of the terrors she had encountered the last few months, her forcing, the terrile lead stallion she was forced to live under, and the mother she once had. Her eyes opened, and obviously they were vacant. That stallion had stolen everything from her, her whole life. She had nothing to live for except the colt, who was dying anyways. She was just an accesory, afraid to feel, afraid to speak. The shock of her life, had muted her. The scars along her rump shone as she heaved to get up. Her legs stretched, and she followed a barely visible path. A small white rose patch was at the end, one red rose in the center. If she could, if her emotions weren't layered, she would have smiled at the beautiful sight, but instead she colapsed on the ground and lay there. If only someone could bring her life meaning...

Suddenly, A Stallion(Me) trotted in He spotted her and trotted next to her he whinnied"Hi, I'm Fire Of The Night you can call me Night or Fire.However you like."he looked at her with his Green Emeralds.

She looked up, no emotion relevant on her face. She shook her head, trying to tell the stallion that she was mute. And, she thought, how can he see my name on my face? I don't look at all hopeful...

He looked at her sadly, now understanding that she was mute.He knocked an apple off an nearby tree and nudged it to her.

She nodded in thanks, and began to eat the apple. If only she could talk, she could tell the colt his name... The colt! She stood up and raced back up the trail, only to find that he had passes. Barely even a month.

He widened his eyes and cantered over following her.He flicked his ears back and forth listening to surroundings..then he spotted the colt.He smiled at the little colt, he nibbled some of the grass then looked at her.

Her head hung low, yet not a single tear fell. She lifted her gaze and pleaded for help with emotionless eyes.

He nudged her knowing that she was sad, he acted like he was muted as well.He would have the same feeling if a colt or filly had died and it was his son/daughter.

She rested her head on his withers, begging her body to let her thank him.

He felt how she would now, understanding what happened to her he rested his head on her neck.

This simple act of compassion and empathy, it was enugh to let the mare to feel again. All of the emotions she buried inside of her, they spilled into the open. Tears streamed from her eyes. She cried for her mother, for the others she left behind, for herself. "Thank you."

He was surprised she could speak again."Your Welcome.."he had a tone of sadness into his voice though but you could barely hear it because it was so soft,
he nudged her again in your welcome once more.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you..." She couldn't stop herself.

He nudged her again"Calm down.Tell me what happened that muted you.."He looked at her wondering if she would ever stop..

"Its a long story."

"Okay..Do you have a Brief version?"He asked lightly.

"My mom was killed, I was kidnaped and forced. I managed to escape."

"Ouch.Tough Times.."he bobbed his head at the thoughts.

"D-do you have a heard? Or are you in a herd?"

"No.But i have a beautiful place that every night a rainbow aura shines in the sky and its a lush green paradise a nice big pond in the middle of it all.Birds,Reptiles, Any living thing mostly!"He smiled and bobbed his head in the direction of his secret home nobody knew about.Except for her.

"Lets go. Please."

He nodded."Follow me."He led her through some trees, he was going at a slow canter so she could keep up.Finally, he led her into a big lush green tropical clearing full of any tropical animals."Like it?"He neighed."Or hate it?"He turned his head over his shoulder at her.

"Love it."

He chuckled."All the mares tried finding this place, but your the first one i led here."He smiled.

"Why thank you."
