The mare almost lazily strode across the plains. She stuck out, her black and white canvas contrasting with the bleak grass plains. She held her slightly dished head up; she was pure arab, but didn't look like part of her head had been knocked out. She had pleasantly sharp features, and delicate ears. Her neck was smooth, full of muscle, connecting to her chest. It was thicker than most arabs, because of muscle, but not so thick it looked odd. Her whole body fit perfectly together. Her hindquarters were also full of powerful muscle, her coat taut over it. Her pink hooves cut into the soft grass as she walked, brown optics scanning the area. She flicked her white tail, which flowed to a few inches from the ground. Her thick white forelock covered her forehead, and her mane covered one side of her neck. Her muscles rippled as she walked. A prize to be had. Except she would let no one have her.

Rowan Walked through the lush grass, his mane matted in places, and his roan color caked with dirt, but being a wild mustang, its difficult to stop and clean up when humans chasing you everywhere you go. His muscular body twitched as he walked and his massive,worn, hooves thudded the soft earth. He spotted the pretty mare and perked his ears. He walzed over to her to say hello. "Hello mam" he said in his young, country accent. He looked at her through his golden orbs, covered by his long flaxen mane.

She barely spared him a glance, her eyes studying him in one sweep, and then scanning the horizon lazily. She kept walking, flicking her tail in acknowledgement, before dropping her muzzle to pause and pull up some dry grass.

(Haha don't think she's ignoring him; Catori naturally acts hard to get, she seems blunt and mysterious. It drives everyone nuts. Especially Angel, but you gotta love her )

"My names Rowan, And what may I have the plesure of calling you little lady?" He said sweetly as he cracked a grin.

She paused at that, glancing up and snorting. "If your asking what my name is, its Catori." She continued eating.

He smirked at her and he joined her in eating grass. He did'nt care if she minded or not..maybe this would get her talking, If he didnt say anything.

She stopped, looking at him. "Was there something you wanted?"

He raised his head and pursed his lips. "I was just trying to be a gentleman and give you some company. Is there any harm in that?" He bent down and got another bite of grass.

She paused, finding no reason. "I guess not." She said, taking a step away and continuing grazing.

He raised his head quickly and perked his ears, Then He relaxed some when the sound he heard was gone. He snorted and shook his body as he watched his surroundings.

She glanced at him, and then lifted her head halfway, walking through the dry grass, to a thin stream. She dipped her muzzle into the water, drinking. She lifted her head, looking into the distance, water droplets dripping from her muzzle.

He trotted over to her, his hooves pounding the ground then he stopped and took a sip of water too. He smiled slyly and splashed water on her.

She stepped backwards, shaking the water off "What was that for?"

He flicked his ears back worriedly. "Have'nt you ever had fun?..No offense..But why are you so serious all of the time?" He looked at her sweetly, but curiously.

"I'm not. You barely know me, you're not one to judge." She said heatedly, stomping.

"I'm Sorry..But you do seem serious about everything..." He looked at her apoligetically(?) "But I may be wrong." He flicked his tail and smiled at her. "So what do you do for fun?" He grinned.

She looked him up and down. She want open to strangers. Wasn't much of a socialistic horse. This was no exception. She laughed skeptically. "Like it matters."

"Ah finally a laugh" He grinned. "And It does matter miss."

She flicked her ears back and rolled her eyes, turning away and trotting in that direction. "Whatever."

He trotted after her "Ah, Come on.. Don't be mad at me.. I was just trying to make you laugh..." he said kindly. He stared at her through soft eyes.

"Its not anger." She replied, glancing at him indifferently.

"You seemed upset.." He replied softly.

"Right." She flicked her tail. "It takes more then that to make me upset."

"Like what?" He perked his ears and swiped his flaxen tail across his spotted back. He smiled softly at her.

She didn't even glance at him. "I don't know. Just a lot more. I'm not upset by something so petty." She said coolly.
