The femme crouched, pointing like she was taught. she was miles from any human, in the wilderness, alone. She crept silently closer, closing the gap between herself and the hare. Then she leapt gracefully, landing on the rabbit. she grabbed it's throat and ended its life quickly and almost painfully, and then crouched to eat, confirming she wasn't any longer belonging to humans. She finished it, and stood, her long legs supporting her. The Pointer looked around with her amber eyes, and then trotted towards the sound of a stream, licking her lips as she went. She had a docked tail, and a rope collar with a small metal tag that said California. An odd name for a dog. She found the stream and crouched, lapping up the water. Then she sat, looked up, and let out a bark, and then a howl, looking for another dog. Hopefully a wolf. For she was through with humans.

Valor herd the bark and howl and answered back with a bark and a howl. Then he followed where he heard it come from and saw the dog and said "Hello there im Valor and you are"

She sat back and tilted her head, regarding him with her bright amber eyes. "They called me 'California'"
