She lay on her back, staring up at the stars. Her tail was disapearing as the waves rolled down her body, then reapeared as it washed back up. She giggled, spotting out the constelations.

A girl walking down the beach,enjoying the fresh air and the salty taste in the air.As she looked at the sea,She saw another girl there.Then as the waves went in,she saw a tail,connected to the girl.She gasped and ran closer.*wow! a real mermaid! I haven't even thought of shifting into that!*

She turned her head, still smiling. Then she spotted the girl. She gasped deeply. "Ooooo." She jumped up, heading for a rock. She picked it up and pulled a white bikini bottom from the sand, then she pulled it on.

Comet cantered across the beach. She saw the two humans and slowed watching them intently.

As Britney got closer,the girl's tail was gone,there were her normal legs.*What happened to her tai;/Was i imagining things?Yeah,that's probably it.*
As she turned around,Britney saw a horse in the distance.

Comet eyed them...

She slipped behind the tree, tripping over a rock. "Ahh!" (you know, like in comedy movies, when someones trying to hide and they are running and then they trip and scream? like that.)

Comet heard the scream and ran towards the girl. She nuzzled her gently.

"Ow." She flexed her arms. "How in the world are actually supposed to use these things?" She wiggled one of her toes.

Britney heard the scream and ran to the horse and girl."Are you okay?"

The horse licked her leg.

She laughed. "I'm fine. What is this funny creature?" She patted the horses head.

She cocked her head, then gently grasped onto her hand, she pulled up slightly.

Britney looked at her funny."Um, it's a horse"She patted the horse's head."Hello,don't worry,we won't hurt you"
She helped the girl to her feet.

"Thanks. Hey, ya like to swim?"

Comet bobbed her head up and down.

"Well, come on!" She ran toward the water, wobbling.

"yeah!Iwas planning to go swimming anyways!"She slipped off the thin purple dress she was wearing,revealing a purple 2 piece bathing suite. Britney took off her sandals and ran in to water,sighing as the cool water touched her skin.

She kicked off her bottom as she jumped into the water. "Don't want that to break." Her tail engulfed her legs, scales encasing them. She jumped out of the water, smiling, but this time the tail was still in place of her legs.

Comet galloped full speed to the shore and jumped of the breakline into the water. She created a huge splash and she whinnied happily,

She laughed, "Hey, house, come on, I wanna shpw you something." She swam deeper into the ocean.

Comet cocked her head but followed.

"Come on. I can keep the water away from you. Watch!" She went down under, bending the water away from her, making a dome, the air inside and the water outside.
