A quiet giggle echoed through the chilly air. A tall teenage girl ran around the side of a house, a few rolls of toilet paper in hand. Hurry and finish that side! I want to spray paint her windows! Said someone in a hushed voice. The girl smiled, and threw a roll into one of the trees, and another onto the roof. The third, she chucked through a window. Hurry! Came the voice from the other side of the house. I'm coming! Get me a can of paint. The girl said, as she started back to the other side of the house. She met up with her partner in crime, and snatched the canister of black spray paint from his hand. Mrs. Newston's gonna be a little late tomorrow... The boy said deviously as they began spraying the paint onto the windows.

Mrs. Newston was the boy's math teacher, and he'd decided to get revenge on her for failing him. He was smart, clever, yes. But in the behavior department, he was a lost case. He'd gotten his sister to join in the fun. The two were the baddest in their school, or, so they believed. Following directions was not on their agenda. They'd gotten in enough trouble to be expelled from three schools, and get kicked out by their parents. How they managed to keep their jobs was a wonder to everyone that knew them. To the kids in school, they were legends, gods. To the adults of the town, they were vermin, rash-like, mistakes. And they didn't care about any of that. They were themselves, and liked it that way. So the girl had cuts going all the way up to her shoulders. So the boy had dated, and fucked, a couple of guys. It was no one else's business.

After the spray painting was finished, the two disappeared into the darkness. They planned on skipping the first few periods of school, only to see if the trigonometry teacher would sleep in. They snuck away to a bench a few yards away from the house, where they could clearly see the woman's house. The bench was all familiar to them. They'd long ago carved their names into the old, soft woods. The girl drew a four inch pocket knife from her skinnies, and began to deepen the gouges of which were her name. Veneta "Solo" Williams. She never used her real name. Her nickname even went on her school papers, when she felt like doing them. The boy, the girls brother, slipped his own knife from his skinny jeans, and began carving deeper into his name. Jay "Puppy" Williams. He usually used his name, but was more often than not called by his nickname. They smiled mischievously at each other before turned their heads to watch the house.

{... AFKMKADF. I. GOT. HERE. 8D.}

Belle shruddered as she walked along the cracked pavement. It wasn't entirely windy, but it sure was freezing.
The small apartments and houses lined up alongside each other cast wicked shadows that stretched long into the night.
Belle had been out late, up at her friends place; which was a long way from town. She cursed the fact that she had decided to not take a bus, and instead, decide to walk all the way home.
She was getting nearer into a part of the town she knew, now. Mrs. Almonds' hosue passed; then Mr. Dorsons, Then the Burveren Sister's place.. She stopped and gasped at the sight of Mrs. Newstons.
What.. Was that? On her windows? And around her garden? She decided to take a closer look.
Stepping onto the soft turft, she slowly made her way up to one of the windows that was flooded with paint. She immediantly rose her hands to her mouth, then turned, and looked around once more.
The other paint-decked windows and the toilet paper came into view. Well, she decided, it wasn't really her problem; but it would be quite rude to not do anything.
She stood there, partly arguing with herself if she should wake Mrs. Newston up, or if she should just continue home.

(SOPROUDOFYOU! 83)

The siblings had been whispering quietly, excited about their revenge. They had been about to take a quick walk down to the convenience store to get something to snack on, when they saw a figure walking down the street. They sat back down on their bench, and watched, silently, as the girl came upon Mrs. Newtson's house. THey snickered as they watched the bewildered girl walked up to the home, and suddenly wished they'd brought their phones with them. This would've made a great video to put on Youtube. They went silent once again, and continued to watch the girl argue with herself. Think she'll do it? Solo whispered to her brother. He shrugged. They studied the girl a bit more. She was a teacher's pet, by the look of things. Now that Jay thought about it, what was a goody goody doing out this late? He elbowed his sister, and they quickly began whispering again, trying to decided if they should mess with the girl.

They'd seen her in school. She'd never gotten in trouble...or so they believed. If she had, they'd never heard about it. They has class with her, and in none other than Newtson's math class. They'd heard her name; more than once, but they could never remember it. Probably because she wasn't an important person to remember. All they really knew was that she was a prep, and they hated her for it. Yeah, they didn't really know her, but once a goody, always a goody. They hated kind people. Well, not all of them. They could put up with some. Like Jay. Many of the preppy girls had gone out with him, only to be left with broken hearts. To him, they were a game. Something to toy with until the next interesting thing passed by. With Solo, it was the same, and they were even having an on-going competition to see who could date the most preps.

Their attention was turned briefly to a passing car, with slowed as the driver saw the disaster they'd made. The siblings remained invisible. The god whoever put this bench in had placed it where bushes and other tall plants grew around it. They watched as the car slowly drove off, and returned their attention to the house, and the girl. They began trying to figure out, once again, if they should mess with her. They decided against it, since it would only bring more trouble to them. They didn't care about getting into trouble, sometimes they even enjoyed it. But threatening the girl...that would be too much. She's run off to the police, and her parents, and get them locked away in Juvey where they could no longer terrorize they society.

{Razz}

She bit her lip after a long time of arguing and talking to herself. Looking back to the door, she murmered something to herself, then walked over to the grey garden chair and sat down. She reached into her jacket pocket and pulled out a small phone, then, dialing a number, she sat there, listening to the phone ring. She took the time to look around again; but it was too dark to really see anything.

Jay was the first to see the girl remove the object from her pocket. He squinted, and stared through the darkness, trying to figure out what it was. He then watched as she lifted to to her ear, and waited. Shit... He muttered under is breath. Solo, who'd dozed off out of boredom, jolted, and looked at him. What is it? She asked, almost inaudibly. He pointed, and her eyes widened. Who the hell was she calling? The police, most likely. The boy stood, a serious frown plastered on his face. Solo stood next to him, an angry sneer on hers. She took a step forward, and then another. Jay followed as his sister stalked through the bushes, reaching out a hand to slow her down. She only grunted, before continuing toward the house. The boy's converse made a dull slapping sound as he stepped onto the street, his sisters own making no sound at all. All of Jay's attempts at stopping her failed.

Who're you calling? Solo growled at the girl. She folded her arms across her chest, and glared. Jay would've been content to stay standing at their bench, but, no. His sister had to drag them into trouble. He remained silent, his hands hanging at his sides. Yeah. So you was a bigshot in school, and he'd toilet papered his teacher's school. But, he wasn't quite as ill-tempered as his sister. (Bleh. Failure T.T)

{^^ 'Tis okay!~}

She snuffled as she sat there, the phone still seemingly endlessly ringing. The sudden walk-in from Solo made her look up. She blinked; a slight blur moving over her eyes. The cold, she figured. Standing up at the question, she quickly lowered the phone back down to her side. "The Police," She murmered, eyes going back to the phone. "Obviously, this house has been vandalized, so..." She watched the small white words appear on-screen; 'No Signal'. She quietly groaned, then looked up at Solo. "Have you got a phone I could possably borrow? Mine's dead." She flopped her arms up and back at her side while slipping her phone back inside her pocket.

Solo raised a brow, and had to struggle to keep herself from laughing. The girl seriously didn't know who they were? What they did? She looked at Jay, who had the corners of his lips turned up in the slightest of smiles. She turned her attention back to the girl, and shook her head. No, I don't. She said curtly. She glanced over at her brother, who shook his head. He doesn't either. She added.

Now that they were closer, Jay took the time to study the girl. She looked preppy, as mentioned before. He rolled his eyes, and brought up a hand to hold his upper arm as he stood annoyedly. He didn't want to be here. He'd much rather be sitting on his bench, taking in the scene from afar. It didn't seem like it, but he was usually the one who hung back, and watched as his sister got herself into trouble. Sure, he loved making trouble, and getting into it sometimes, but tonight, he wasn't really in the mood for confrontation. This girl would probably figure out sooner or later that it had been them, and it would mean her going to the police.

Not that it was something they weren't used to. They used to spend a few nights in jail before their parents came to pick them up with disappointment. He shifted his weight slightly, and continued to watch the interaction between his sister, and the girl.

She bit her lip and sighed heavily. She felt it was kind of odd that one; now two people would be just 'here'. Were they suspects? She tried her best to make out Solo's face. She seemed.. familier. Maybe even one of the girls at her school? It was such a small town; almost everyone knew everyone else; but it would be a bit of time-wasting to ask.

The boy in the back caught her attention. She looked at him, already haveing a feeling he looked a bit impatient. Her gaze locked on to him for a minute, before she tore it away to look down the road. "There's a small police station not far from here" She murmered, digging her freezing hands into her pockets. "I'm going to take a walk." She shruddered before turning, somewhat trying to not take much notice of Solo and Jay.

(There is no need >8D)

Solo's gaze narrowed. And we'll come with you. She said defiantly. The girl wasn't going to go there alone. Especially since they had been the ones who'd cause the chaos. She smirked devilishly, and turned with her. She took a few steps, and looked back at Jay, and the reluctant looking girl. Well, c'mon! Get your asses moving. She said hurriedly. She didn't want to miss out on the confusion. Solo... Jay said slowly. He took a step forward, and reached out a hang to get her to calm down. His hand was slapped away, and he shook his head.

Jay stared after his sister in disbelief. Why was she so eager to get to the preppy girl's destination? It would be better for them to just return to their hidden bench, and forget about the girl, and the fact that she was dead set on getting the police. He rubbed a hand across his face, letting a tiny groan escape his throat. He was tired. Something that didn't happen to him often. Maybe it was the recent string of events and trips to court that had exhausted him. He slowly stepped after his sister, and glanced back at the girl. You coming? He asked, as he looked at her expectantly.

Her eyes widened in suprise when she heard 'Solo'. Hadn't she heard.. or even seen that name before? It confused her a little, but Solo's snappy voice broke her thoughts. Her eyes lingered over to the boy, who obviously didn't really want to go. She let him step past her, and slightly twitched at his question. Giving nothing more then a small nod, she continued on, careful to keep a small distance behind them.

About an hour had passed. They should have been there by now. The walk was only quarter of an hour. Did Solo even know where she was going? Maybe she was going to a diffrent station. Belle shurddered, slowly slinking further away fom the pair.
But.. was this really a good idea? Going along with a complete pair of strangers? Yes, maybe they did go to her school, and maybe she'd had even seen them. But then again, she remembered the warning that was almost hammered into her as a child; 'Never trust strangers' and, 'Stranger Danger'.
When she finally took the time to look at her surroundings, she noticed something.. 'diffrent'. The town was slowly disapearing; and more and more trees came into view. Some sort of forest, she though, shivering, a worried look crossing over her face as she kept a soft glance on Solo and the boy.

Solo had kept babbling the entire time the were walking. The. Entire. Time. Jay rolled his eyes, and slowed his pace so he didn't have to listen to her incessant talking. He'd noticed that they had passed the police station, and he began to get worried. Where was his sister taking them. He thought over this, before it dawned on him. Solo had been talking so much about her 'adventures' that she'd forgotten their destination. He quickened his pace, and tapped her shoulder. When she didn;t respond, he said he name a couple times. When that didn't work, he raised his voice slightly. At the interruption, she raised her hand, and slapped him with enough force to cause his head to turn to the side. He glared at her, and raised his hand to his cheek, where there was already heat. He could feel the bruise forming. He turned back the way they'd come, and walked back toward the police station with a scowl on his face.

Solo, shocked at what she'd just done, chased after him. Oh, come ooooooon. Quit being such a baby. She crooned. She patted his shoulder, but he shrugged her hands away. It's fine. He said gruffly. Solo stopped suddenly, and turned to look at the girl. She made a motion for her to follow, eyes solemn. She noticed Jay had stopped, and was waiting for them, still glowering. He rubbed his face gently, before stuffing his hands in his pockets, and tapping his shoe on the pavement impatiently.

{.. Woman. Why your characters be so violent-- *Cliffed*}

She kept her gaze going back and forth between the two, teeth quietly chattering all the way. Even from that distance; she could hear Solo's non-stop talking. What was she even talking about? Belle had no idea.

The boy's name calling interupted her thoughts. She looked up slightly just in time to see Solo turn around and slap him. A small gasp came out and caused her to hold her breath and step back as he walked past. She blinked as Solo went after him and murmered something, and heard the raspy reply from the boy. Solo's gesture and Jay's tapping made her jerk foward; not really wanting to keep them waiting. What was up with these two? They sure seemed difficult with each other.

Belle had the urge to ask the boy if he was okay. But.. judgeing from what happened before.. these people seemed pretty jumpy; and she didn't really know what to expect.

(Solo's the violent one. Jay's just got the bad boy attitude. Mm. Sexy Wink XD)

Jay began walking again as the girl finally began moving in their direction. His face was hard as he continued on silently. Solo had given up on trying to apologize, and hung back with a blank expression. After a while, Jay reached back and ruffled her hair, smiling when he received a squeal of disapproval, and a light punch in the shoulder. He slowed a bit, so his pace matched his sisters. He glanced quickly back at the girl, to see if she was still following them.

{Ffff. xD}

She followed them, biting her lip every now and again. Were they finally going in the right direction now? The little de-tour had thrown Belle off of the 'Vandalized-House' case.

The point came where she thought if it was really worth it. She held up her arm and groaned silently as the small watch showed '3:37'. It was three in the morning, and she hadn't had any sleep; even though she wasn't really tired. She was a bit used to these late in-the-morning trips. Shakeing her head, she jogged up beside Solo and gently tapped her on the shoulder. "How about you guys go to the police," she murmered quietly. "I might be off.." she snuffled, clutching herself.

Solo turned her head, and glared. Had this girl seriously just come up and touch her? He brushed off her shoulder. Aww. Why. You tired? Scared of being alone in the dark without your little mob of squealing friends to protect you? She jeered. She smirked, and looked over at Jay who looked down at the ground. She rolled her eyes, and looked back at the girl. What's your name anyway? I've heard it before, but, I can never seem to remember it. She said in an almost sing songy voice. She was getting into one of those moods in which she taunted every living soul.

Solo... Jay said warnignly. He didn't want her to hurt the preppy girl. Sure, he'd beaten the crap out of several guys, but he didn't think that beating up girl was right, even if it was another girl doing it. When Solo ignored him, and lightly shoved the girl, he grabbed her arm. Stop. Now. He growled through his teeth. Solo stared at him wide-eyed, and lowered her hands. She frowned, as if she were annoed. Fine. She hissed, before moving a way a little. Jay rolled his eyes.

{.. Nice. |D;}

The comment Solo hissed made Belle want to go to Narnia *shot* frown a tad and look away. "Belle," she murmered, dislikeing the way Solo made a little sing-song voice.

The boy's voice seemed to make her look up, then glance at Solo. Nope. She didn't see the shove coming.
She let out a suprised squeak and almost fell over; even though it was a light little push. Yep. She was clumsy like that.

She stood there and held up her arm to her mouth; she had crunched her lip ashfmiasfmd Ow ;A; and made it bleed. She closed her eyes and huffed; as though trying to figure out what to do next.

(Solo's a meaner pants)

Solo just grinned at the girl's obvious pain. Baby. She muttered under her breath. She glanced back at Jay, who had fallen into step with What's-Her-Face. She'd already forgotten her name...again. She shrugged lightly when her brother gave her a suggestive glance, and looked away from the two of them. Sure, Jay acted hard core, but on the inside he was a puppy. Like his nickname suggested.

Jay looked at Belle with slight concern. He noticed a bit of blood on her lip. You okay? He asked gruffly. He reached up and touched his tender cheek, wincing. His sister's slaps were the only thing that seemed to cause him pain. The fights he got himself into were always won by him, and he just laughed off the bruises that were left on him. The only other sign of any pain Jay had felt had been permanently etched into his skin my the form of a razor blade, leaving long white scars that traveled up his arms, and stopped just before his shoulders. Had he been shirtless, or wearing shirts, one would plainly see the continuation of his self inflicted wounds on his chest and thighs. He sighed, and shivering lightly. Why hadn't he brought a hoodie along? He growled at himself, and remained silent again as they walked.

She smiled the lightest and gave a small nod, then looked up at him and saw him wince. She wiped off the rest of the blood and sighed lighty. "What about you? Are you okay?" She had slightly hesitated in asking that; not really sure of what kind of reply to expect.

(Yeah....xD)

Solo growled audibly as they reached the station. She suddenly looked back at Jay and the girl...Belle...yes. That was her name. She suddenly realized that the both of them looked like they'd been beaten up....And they sort-of had been. She sighed, and pulled open the door angrily. She stepped aside, and motioned for them to go in front.

Jay gave a curt nod. It's nothing. He said as they arrived at the police station. He caught Solo's worried glance, and looked down at Belle. He swore under his breath, and frowned. Then, he smirked, pulling a small hinged disk from his pocket. He flipped it open, revealing powered concealer. He dabbed it gently over the bruise until it was as invisible as it would get. He looked over at Belle. If anyone asks, you fell. Solo said a bit rudely as Jay opened his mouth to suggest something. He quickly closed it, before gving Belle a small push to head inside.

{.. 8D One more post. And ffff. Why does Belle get pushed around so much. xD}

She sighed heavily when they got to the station. Quite a trip, she thought, mind spinning from all the walking.
She put a finger over a lip; no more blood. But a small bump. She shrugged, soon forgetting about it and focusing on the doors of the station. She was about to walk in; when she recieved the head-start push from Jay.

It was quite warm inside; such a big diffrence from the cold-blown outside. She led them up to a long desk, which had a policeman sitting at the back of it. "May I help you?" He muttered, glanceing up from writing something. Belle shot a quick glance at Solo and Jay, then looked back at the officer and sighed.

"Right," Came the breif reply. "I'll send some people down there now." The guy got up and walked into the back room.

Belle huffed loudly and slunk into one of the waiting chairs, blankly studying the room.

Jay strode in confidently, and looked around. Nothing had changed since he'd been in here last week. The secretary looked up at the siblings, rolling her eyes. He winked at her, with a mischievous smile. Hello, Ellen. He said charmingly. She just glared at him, before returning to her work. He chuckled. He stood back as Belle told the officer about the vandalism, and looked over at Solo. He shrugged. As he saw the officer turn to walk into the back room, he smirked. He knew the cop. It was the one who always brought him in when he got in trouble. The man turned and walked away before he noticed Jay standing there. He turned, and followed, dropping into the chair on her right.

Solo huffed, and rolled her eyes. Jay could be so...weird at times. She waved at Ellen with a smirk, and turned and followed the onther two to the counter, standing next to Belle. When the girl finished her story, she turned, and walked across the room, a defiant look on her face. She settle herself into one of the chairs away from her brother and Belle, staring at the dark mark on the floor where she'd tried to set fire to the pplace. Ah...good times.

{Wait..SoJaysatinthechairnexttoBelle?}

Belle's face remained blank when Jay slunk down in the chair that stood next to hers. She was suddenly curious; about who vandalised the house, about who these people were.. Why 'Ellen' seemed to care less about him. Him.. She still didn't know what the boy's name was. But did she dare ask..? Well, they were in a police station; he wouldn't do anything stupid. But then again.. She didn't really know him...

All the questions left her mind as she tilted her head to the side a tad. "Might I ask your name?" She murmered quietly to Jay, careful not to be so loud as to let Solo hear.

(xD He doesn't have a crush on her or anything xD)

Solo slumped in her seat, and glanced over at Jay and Belle. Her brother caught her, and she gave him a glare. Traitor... Its seemed to say. He rolled his eyes, and turned his head. He had his heels against the legs of the chair, and his arms were folded across his chest. He looked down at his arms, and stared for a moment at his scars, which were much more visible now that they were in brighter light. He sighed deeply, before looking back up, staring at the clock on the wall without actually seeing it. He was totally bored. He looked around the room, and his eyes came to rest on a peice of paper on the table next to his chair. He grabbed it, and scribbled something quickly on it with the Sharpie he always kept in his pocket, after he folded it.

The decorated paper airplane glided across the room, looping through the air before crashing in the counter, and falling to the floor. Jay smirked, and zoned back out. He was pulled from his thoughts as Belle spoke to him. He looked over at her, and raised a brow. It was only the second time she'd spoken to him directly. He brushed his bangs from his eyes, only to have them fall back into place. Jay. He mumbled after he finally decided to reply. He stared at his showed, and went back to being silent, running a hand through his charcoal hair once, before dropping his hand in his lap, returning to his thoughts once more.

{Thank god not xD}

She slightly frowned when he answered. She had defenetly heard that name before. But where..?
Her thoughts were quickly interupted as the police officer walked back from out the back room. "Right," he coughed, looking up at them, sharply eyeing Jay and Solo, but going back to Belle. "A couple of guys are on their way now. But.." He went over and sat on the other chair besides Belle and stared at her. I'd love to ask you who you think did this.. But first... Where did you meet these two?" He slightly muttered, loud enough for all of them to hear.

Belle's eyes widened in suprise. She looked to Solo and Jay, then down at the ground. "Well.." Why did he ask this? Was there something wrong with them? She hummed a little, as if desperate for a good enough answer.

{.. I dunno. =D='}

Solo stood, and plopped into the seat next to Jay. She watched as the very familiar cop walked across the room and settled himself into the other chair next to Belle. Solo smirked and waved, giving the man a suggestive wink. She turned, and crossed her ankles and crossed her arms behind her head, lacing her fingers togather in a relaxed position. She'd dozed off, missing out on what the man had said.

Jay noticed the officer's look, and smiled lightly, obviously not really caring much about the situation...until he heard the officer's question about where Belle had met them. He sat forward a bit, hiding his surprise. He and his sister were so screwed. He sighed, and twisted his hands in the hem of his t-shirt. This meant his parents getting called. THis meant his drunken step-father was going to beat the crap out of him, and verbally abuse his younger sister while his mother left the house so she could pretend nothing was happening, and her life was still perfect. Jay would probably have gotten the same punishment as Solo, but he stood up for his younger sister, since Jon yelled and swore at her, and even more after she'd started to cry.

Jay wasn't sure why this kept going on, since Jon had kicked them out of the house long ago. Yet he could come and go as he pleased, since the siblings were minors. He scowled, and crossed his arms, rubbing the slight bumps the scars made.
