Sweeney rolled his eyes at Logan and gave Alexander a sympathetic look. He turned to Raven.Do you think talking to her might help? You are indeed a girl and she needs feminine support. He told her.

Logan darted back inside to finish his wood carving and Alexander went back to his room to read in peace.

Raven waited until they both left before she let out a heavy sigh and shook her head. "This is going to be a lot harder than I thought." she muttered. "She already hates Elena. There is no way she'd ever listen to her at the moment. You might have better luck than I would." she told him.

Sweeney sighed.I dont think anyone will have any luck with her. Shes already going through mood swings. It was the same with Logan and Alexander.

Raven nodded and sighed. "She is just as bad as what her mother was. I had to watch my tail carefully so that it wouldn't get stomped on when that woman was having one of her temper tantrums." she said with a shudder. "I may just have to teach them in secret."

Sweeney hesitated.If she finds out im history but it looks like our only option.He said.

Raven nodded. "I've got your back if there's a slip up. I won't let her strangle you or anything." she told him as she tried to hide a smile.

He grinned at her.So do you want to go and talk to them?

"I think I'll let them come to me instead. Logan never is very patient and Alexander doesn't like it when Logan is better than him at something." Raven said with a grin.

Sweeney grinned.Youre right. All we have to do is wait.

Raven nodded before moving behind Sweeney and pushing him towards the door. "While I wait, you go and try to calm Rosetta down." she told him as she tried not to smile.

Sweeney walked into the house and looked around.Rosetta? Where are you?He called.

Raven returned to practicing. Her moves were a little rusty in her human form.

An angry yelp filled the house as Rosetta accidently stabbed one of her fingers again with the sowing needle. She had gone to work on one of the blankets she was making in an attempt to calm down.

Sweeney followed the yelp and stood in the doorway.Rosetta.

Rosetta looked up at the sound of her name before scowling at Sweeney and returning to her work.

He sighed and walked in.Rosetta, I know you have reason to be angry. But will you just hear me out?He asked softly.

Rosetta remained silent as she finished up part of the blanket. She might listen, but she doubted she would agree.

Sweeney walked over to her and sat next to her.The boys are growing up. They may need to defend themselves. One day wemight not be there.

"What if they start picking fights they can't win? What if they get hurt because they think they can?" Rosetta asked sharply.

Sweeney shook his head.We`ll just have to make sure that they have more sense than that.He told her.

Rosetta shook her head as tears began to fill her eyes. "I don't want to lose my boys." she mumbled, her voice shaking.

Sweeney put an arm around her.You wont lose them. They will always be around.He promised.

Rosetta turned to wrap her arms around Sweeney's waist as she buried her face into his chest. "What if she takes them away to train?" she asked, her voice mumbled by his shirt.

He leaned his chin on her head and stroked her head.She wont. Ill make sure of it.

Rosetta nodded slightly before her grip lossened around Sweeney. A soft snore drifted from her.

Sweeney pulled her closer until she was on his lap and just sat there holding her. He needed to relax for a second.
