China both her hand on Rome's shoulder reassuringly.

Faye looked at Thistle incredulously.What??

Rome felt China put her hands on his shoulders and fell to his knees. He dropped his head into his hands. "Why is this happening to me?" he whispered.

Thistle looked back in the direction of the house, her eyes wide with terror. She had only seen one man with eyes like that. "Rome doesn't have any vampire blood in him. His full spellcastor blood is taking over him. He's going rogue like his father." she told them, her entire body trembling. Due to the fact that spellcastors and their Demons aged similar to vampires she had been there the day Rome's father had gone rogue. He had gone completely mad. He had nearly killed Silva and Thistle and if it hadn't been for Rome's mother Rome would have been killed too. "We have to get back to the ranch. Now!" Silva told Thistle and Faye.

China rubbed her hand over his back.Shhhh. You'll be okay.

Faye started after Thistle, dragging Silva with. She was scared of what she would find, but she was also scared of Rome being hurt or worse.

Rome shook his head miserably and looked up at China. "How? Everything hurts..." he groaned dropping his head back into his hands.

Thistle changed back to a black wolf and reluctantly led the way back down to the ranch. Even though she wanted Silva as far from Rome as possible she knew he wouldn't leave his friend. Silva took off after his Demon. He cast a spell and suddenly he was a silver wolf running alongside Thistle.

China bit her lip and watched out for Silva.

Faye ran after them, keeping up easily.

Silva and Thistle burst out of the trees and raced towards the house. Rome looked up and the moment he saw Silva he let out a growl and the next moment a panther stood in his place. The huge cat leaped off of the porch and snarled at the approaching wolves. Thistle skidded to a startled stop, but Silva continued towards him. There was an audible sound when the two collided with each other, snarling. They both sounded savage. As if they were going to kill each other.

Senshi came barreling out of the barn. His fetlock was completely healed due to the power coursing through his Master. He reached the two fighting spellcastors and reared up, lashing his hooves dangerously close to them. The brand on his shoulder glowed green as the same anger that flooded his Master filled him. His front hooves came crashing down just inches from where Rome had pinned Silva, but the silver wolf managed to get lose. He had just reared up again when Thistle leaped at him from the side sending him stumbling sideways. Now both the spellcastors and their Demons were fighting.

Faye started running towards them to help, but China caught her and held her back. Faye strained against China's grip and screamed at them to stop. She knew that Silva was injured and couldn't hold up forever.

Silva and Rome had both changed back into their human forms. It was obvious that Silva was weakening and fast. Rome had Silva pinned to the ground by his throat and was about to bring his fist down on his head when his daughter's voice finally reached him. He froze, his eyes wide as he looked down at his friend. He jumped off of him and staggered backwards, tripping and falling on his butt. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." he kept mumbling, horrified. He and Silva were as close as brothers and he had just tried to kill him.

The glow of Senshi's brand faded with Rome's anger and the Demon could finally think clearly. He lowered his front hooves back to the ground and shook his massive head, confused. Thistle kept her distance from the horse. She had been keeping the other Demon's attention on her instead of their Masters and she was exhausted.

She ran over to Silva and started checking him.

Silva groaned and sat up slowly, rubbing his throat. "I'm fine." he told Faye, even though he knew he wouldn't have been if she hadn't stopped Rome. "This is bad." he muttered. He called for Thistle and the panting wolf slipped over to his side, warily watching Senshi. With the wolf's help he managed to get to his feet. He walked over to Rome and crouched down. "You're not going to like this, but we need to speak with your father." he told him. Rome's eyes widened and he shook his head. "He won't help us." he said. "How do you know that?" came a deep voice that sent chills up both Silva and Rome's spines and sent Thistle and Senshi dashing forward to protect their Masters.

China froze at the voice. She knew it from somewhere, but she didn't know where. She and Faye turned around at the exact same time, both equally curious to see what had made everyone so afraid.

"Now, now. Why is everyone so tense? Is something wrong?" a tall man dressed in black asked, a smile on his face. He looked at Rome and his smile widened. "My, oh my. My little boy has grown up and he's finally ready to join the rest of us." he said, sounding cheerful. His bright green eyes flashing. Thistle growled sharply, but it was obvious she was terrified just like Senshi who stood next to Rome and Silva.

China found the threat in his voice and snarled quietly. Faye just stood, shivering. She wanted to go to Silva but she couldn't get past Thistle.

Rome looked up at his father with obvious fear in his eyes along with hatred. "I don't know what you mean, but I'll never join you." he snapped. "Ah, but my dear boy, you don't have much of a choice. The signs are clear." Aden told him, grinning. He moved towards Rome and paid no attention to Thistle when she growled a warning. Rome looked over at Faye and China and sent a mental command to Senshi. The huge horse reluctantly moved to stand between Aden and the two females, snorting nervously. Aden didn't even glance away from his son. "Your eyes are changing, your anger is out of control, and your starting to have thoughts of blood and violence, am I right?" he asked. He didn't need a reply to know the answer. "You are finally ready to join me as the last of the full blooded spellcastors." he said smiling.

Faye couldn't hold back any more and blurred across the ground, into Silva's arms. China started desperately searching for something she could use to get this man away from Rome. She turned on her love magic to it's full potential, without even thinking about the consequences. Even on Rome, she had used one of the mildest settings.

Silva wrapped his arms around Faye and pulled her slightly behind him, keeping his eyes on Aden. Thistle moved over to stand protectively in front of her master and the girl. A deep growl rumbled in her throat.

Aden felt magic near him and glanced over at China. His green eyes suddenly glazed over and he turned his full attention onto China. He started walking towards her. He stopped in front of her and reached his hand out as if to touch her cheek. Rome gasped when he realized what was about to happen, but he was to slow to react. Something shot out from Aden's shirt sleeve and wrapped itself around China's neck as Aden's eyes refocused and a dark smile crossed his face. A black mamba, one of the deadliest snakes in the world settled itself tightly around the Vampire's neck. "It looks like Thanatos has fallen in love." he chuckled. "I hope Damian doesn't. That may cause a little trouble." he said, his smile widening. Rome stood frozen in place. He didn't want to do anything that would upset the black snake.
