POV: Shanti


I trotted into a wide field, the spring sun warming my dark fur. I sniffed around, the smell being most horses, but mixed in were the scents of humans, birds, and other creatures. I ventured out further, and gave a howl, for no reason. I summoned a slight breeze, that blew through my fur. I lay down, and look at what's around me. Nothing but the field and the trees surrounding it. I heard birds chirping, and a couple deer prancing through the woods, but nothing else. It was quiet, and I liked it, so I fell asleep. (Fail )

( i am noticing a lot of people do this, its ok.. try not to write form first person view.. cause we don;t know if your he or she or whats really happening..

The wind howled.

Iy Roze, or Roze, trotted into the clearing. The howling wind buffeted her fur, so when the air was calm for a few moments, her fur looked bedraggled and uncared for. She'd lick it so it looked perfect again, only for the wind to mess up the thick coat of pink once again. She found a large hollow where she was safe from the wind, and, once again, licked her fur back into place. She howled a beautiful note, hoping someone would hear her, and come.

Roze sat up upon hearing a response. It seemed close....ish... She howled again, a bit quietly.

he howled back..

She went towards the howl this time, and gave a low bark. She smelled the ground, but couldn't yet smell anything.

H ejumepd down and barked back.. he slower popped up.

She almost bumped right into the wolf who had appeared in front of her. She backed up a little, and gave a slight smile. "Hello." She said with soft, pretty voice.

"hi, I"m rock" he said fermly

She sat. "I'm Roze." She said, smiling wider now. He seemed kind of...interesting.

He nodded.

She frowned. "You don't talk much." She said. She turned, and licked at her tail, which had gotten messed up and dirty.

"i guess"

Roze fluffed her tail."Ok then." She stood, and walked past him, looking for a mouse. She was just a bit peckish.
